Algiers – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Bedari, has extended his congratulations to student-athlete Nadia Katebi following her outstanding performance at the Arab Weightlifting Championship held in Qatar in 2025.
Minister Bedari conveyed his message of congratulations via his official Facebook page on Monday. He lauded Katebi’s achievement in securing three medals at the prestigious regional competition.
“Congratulations to the champion student, Nadia Katebi, a student at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports at Abdelhamid Ben Badis University, Mostaganem, on her victory with three medals in the Arab Weightlifting Championship held in Qatar 2025, in the 49 kg weight category for seniors,” the Minister stated.
Katebi’s impressive performance saw her clinch one gold medal and two silver medals, showcasing her dedication and skill in the sport. Her success is a source of pride for the university and the nation.
