Grand Mosque of Algiers, National TV Sign Partnership Deal

Algiers, December 24, 2025 – The Grand Mosque of Algiers and the Algerian National Television (ENTV) have signed a landmark partnership agreement aimed at bolstering the religious and cultural influence of the mosque both nationally and internationally. The signing ceremony, held earlier today, was overseen by the Minister of Communication, Zohir Bouamama, and the Dean of the Grand Mosque of Algiers, Sheikh Muhammad al-Ma’mun al-Qasimi al-Hassani.

The agreement was officially signed by the Director-General of Algerian Television, Mohamed Baghali, and the Director of the Cabinet of the Grand Mosque of Algiers, Bachir Bessaoud, in the presence of several officials from both institutions. This partnership signifies a strengthened relationship between public media and religious institutions with significant cultural importance.
