Algeria is set to participate in the second edition of the International Health Expo, “Kenya Expo 2023,” scheduled from November 9th to 11th. The expo, taking place in Bamako under the theme “Local Industry and Production for Comprehensive Health Coverage,” aims to highlight the importance of local manufacturing in achieving universal health coverage.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry and Production, Zarifa Khodir, will commence a working visit to Bamako on Thursday, representing Minister Ali Aoun at this global event. This visit aims to strengthen Algerian-Malian cooperation and partnerships in pharmaceutical production and to enhance the export of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to African markets.
