Algiers – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has extended his condolences following the death of Brigadier General Mohamed Ben Dida, Inspector of the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry of National Defence.
The President, also Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, conveyed his heartfelt sympathy in a message released earlier today.
“It is with deep sorrow and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Brigadier General Mohamed Ben Dida, Inspector of the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry of National Defence, who passed away yesterday evening, Wednesday, December 24. In this great tragedy, I extend to the family of the deceased, and to all members of the People’s National Army, my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy, praying to Almighty God to cover him with his vast mercy, grant him spacious gardens, and inspire his family with beautiful patience and good solace. Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return,” the message stated.
The loss of Brigadier General Ben Dida is felt deeply within the Ministry of National Defence and the wider Algerian military community. His contributions to the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation were highly valued, and he will be remembered for his dedication and service.
