An Algerian refereeing team has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the highly anticipated match between Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the second round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to sources, the Algerian international referee, Mustapha Ghorbal, will be the man in charge of the crucial encounter between the two nations. Ghorbal is a highly respected official with extensive experience in both continental and international competitions.
Assisting Ghorbal on the field will be his compatriots, Adel Abane and Akram Zerhouni, who will serve as the assistant referees. The fourth official for the match will be Helal Benbraham, completing the all-Algerian officiating team.
