Belloumi Suffers Setback: Out for Three Months with Injury

Hull, England – Algerian international Mohamed Bachir Belloumi is set to be sidelined for approximately three months due to a recurring hamstring injury, DZWatch has learned.

The Championship club announced yesterday that Belloumi sustained the injury during their recent match against Sheffield Wednesday, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Belloumi started the game and even managed to score a goal before being forced off the pitch in the closing stages due to discomfort.

Hull City described the injury as a “significant blow” to both the player and the team. The club emphasized Belloumi’s importance, highlighting him as one of the most talented wingers to have played for the team in recent years. They expressed their best wishes for his speedy recovery and return to competitive play.

This setback is particularly disappointing for the 23-year-old, who was just beginning to regain his form after a lengthy absence due to a previous knee injury sustained last season following his transfer to the English club in the summer of 2024. The injury had kept him out of action for a considerable period, and this latest issue will further delay his progress.

DZWatch will continue to provide updates on Belloumi’s recovery.
