Algiers – The Algerian government has officially launched a new digital platform designed to monitor recovered assets and enhance transparency and governance. The Minister of Industry presided over the inauguration ceremony at the ministry headquarters earlier today, with representatives from various ministries and relevant bodies in attendance.
This initiative aligns with the President’s directives to modernize public administration, accelerate digitalization, and promote transparency and efficiency in managing public funds, particularly concerning recovered assets.
The digital platform aims to improve coordination and monitoring mechanisms among stakeholders by providing a unified information system. This system will enable real-time and accurate tracking of recovered assets, ensuring their proper utilization and preventing mismanagement.
The Inspector General of the Ministry of Industry has been tasked with overseeing the platform’s implementation. This includes standardizing processing methods, ensuring optimal platform usage, and supporting various sectors in utilizing the new digital system.
During the launch, the Minister of Industry emphasized the ministry’s commitment to good governance and the strategic importance of digital transformation in improving public sector performance. He added that this initiative would also enhance public trust in state institutions, serving the public interest and contributing to building a modern and efficient administration. The platform is expected to streamline processes and improve accountability in the management of recovered assets throughout the country.
