Algiers – The Algerian government has officially launched a new digital platform designed to monitor recovered assets and enhance transparency and governance. The platform was inaugurated earlier today by the Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, at the ministry headquarters, with representatives from various ministerial departments and relevant bodies in attendance.
This initiative aligns with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s directives to modernize public administration, accelerate digitalization, and promote transparency and efficiency in the management of public funds, particularly concerning the recovered assets portfolio.
The digital platform aims to improve monitoring and coordination among stakeholders by providing a unified information system. This system will enable real-time and accurate tracking of the status of recovered assets, ensuring their proper utilization and preventing mismanagement. The platform is expected to streamline processes and enhance accountability in the management of these assets.
The Inspector General of the Ministry of Industry has been tasked with overseeing the implementation of the platform, standardizing processing methods, ensuring optimal utilization, and supporting various sectors in using this new digital system. This move underscores the government’s commitment to good governance and digital transformation as a strategic choice to improve public performance.
Minister Bachir emphasized that this initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to strengthening good governance principles and supporting digital transformation as a strategic option to improve public service. The platform is also expected to bolster trust in state institutions, serve the public interest, and contribute to building a modern and efficient administration.
