In a significant step towards enhancing Algeria’s infrastructure, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Installations, Lakhdar Rekhroukh, along with the Governor of Tissemsilt Province, Bouzaid Fathi, initiated the Medea-Tissemsilt road duplication project on Monday. This ambitious project aims to duplicate the National Road No. 127, connecting it to the National Road No. 14 and the North-South highway, including a junction at the Qsar El Boukhari municipality, spanning 73 kilometers.

According to a statement from the Medea Province’s official Facebook page, this initiative is in line with the President’s decision to end the isolation of the province and connect it with neighboring state axes. The duplication of this national road is expected to significantly boost both the national and local economies. The road network, a vital component of economic development, is set to receive a dynamic upgrade through this project.

Furthermore, the statement elaborated that this project is part of the President’s supplementary program, focusing on the short-term development of road networks. It emphasizes constructing duplicate routes on structural roads between provinces to enhance traffic flow. This plan takes into account traffic safety and security standards, ensuring a safer and more efficient travel experience.
