Blida – The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Said Saayoud, along with the Director-General of National Security, Ali Bedaoui, presided over the unified graduation ceremony for the 62nd graduating class of police officers today, Thursday, at the Abdelmadjid Bouzebid National Security Application School in Soumaa, Blida.
The ceremony marked the culmination of intensive training for these newly minted officers, representing the December 28, 2024 graduating class. The event underscored the Ministry’s commitment to bolstering the ranks of the National Police force with highly trained and capable personnel.
Minister Saayoud addressed the graduating class, emphasizing the vital role they will play in ensuring the safety and security of Algerian citizens. He highlighted the importance of upholding the law, respecting human rights, and maintaining public order with integrity and professionalism. The Minister also reiterated the government’s dedication to providing the National Police with the resources and support needed to effectively carry out their duties.
“You are now the guardians of our nation’s security,” Minister Saayoud stated. “Your actions will reflect not only on yourselves but on the entire National Police force. Always strive to serve with honor, courage, and a deep sense of responsibility.”
The Director-General of National Security, Ali Bedaoui, also addressed the graduates, emphasizing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. He stressed the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in the face of evolving threats. He also commended the instructors and staff of the Abdelmadjid Bouzebid National Security Application School for their dedication to providing high-quality training.
