Beni Abbes – Under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the sixth edition of the Presidential Prize for Amazigh Literature and Language was inaugurated today in Beni Abbes, coinciding with the national celebrations of the Amazigh New Year, Yennayer 2976.
The event witnessed significant official and cultural attendance, including government officials, representatives of cultural institutions, and a distinguished group of academics and creators, alongside the winners of the prize in its various categories. The atmosphere was festive, reflecting a deep sense of belonging to the diverse Algerian national identity.
The prize aims to encourage literary creativity and scientific research in the Amazigh language and to promote its use in literature, linguistic studies, and translation.
