Algerian international Adam Ounas has officially signed with Qatari club Al-Shamal SC, the club announced yesterday. The agreement will see Ounas join the squad for a six-month period, bolstering their ranks during the current winter transfer window.
Ounas will team up with fellow Algerian Baghdad Bounedjah at Al-Shamal. He arrives as a free agent after recently terminating his contract with Al-Sailiya. Ounas previously played for Al-Sadd for one season before being loaned to Al-Sailiya.
The winger recently participated in the Arab Cup 2025 with the Algerian national team, featuring in three matches before their quarter-final exit.
Al-Shamal SC confirmed the completion of the transfer on their official platform, stating that Ounas has joined the team and signed a contract for half a season. The club expressed their enthusiasm for welcoming the Algerian international and their hopes for his contribution to the team’s success.
This move marks a new chapter for Ounas in the Qatari league, where his skills and experience are expected to make a significant impact on Al-Shamal’s performance in the coming months. His addition is seen as a strategic acquisition to strengthen the team’s attacking options.
