President Tebboune Emphasizes: No Export of Raw Primary Materials

In a firm stance, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has emphasized the non-export policy of raw primary materials. During a recent working visit to Tindouf, President Tebboune underlined the importance of respecting deadlines for project completions and conducting periodic evaluations to monitor the progress of these significant strategic projects, President Tebboune Raw Material Export Policy.

The President particularly focused on the optimal utilization of the Gara Djebilet mine’s resources. He insisted on the necessity of covering the nation’s major needs first before considering exports, viewing the mine as a pivotal player in the iron and steel industry’s expansion.

Additionally, President Tebboune called for the transformation and processing of natural raw materials to add value to development efforts. He stated the need to move away from exporting raw primary materials, regardless of their type.

President Tebboune also highlighted the economic development potential of the Bechar-Tindouf-Gara Djebilet railway project. He stressed that this would not only spur economic growth in the region but also create employment opportunities for local youth.

In another context, President Tebboune addressed Tindouf’s past neglect in development, asserting that the region is now poised for developmental projects that will elevate its deserved status.

Promising the inhabitants of Tindouf, President Tebboune announced plans for a modern hospital in the region. He assured that the procedures to initiate the hospital project would begin immediately upon his return to the capital. He also committed to improving housing and doubling the salaries of doctors working in southern provinces.

From Tindouf, President Tebboune announced an upcoming visit by Prime Minister Nadir Al-Arbawi to discuss development issues and benefit from a supplementary program.
