Algiers, Algeria – The 19th session of the Executive Bureau Conference of African Judicial Bodies commenced today at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers. The conference is being held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The opening of the conference, organized by the Constitutional Court, was marked by the presence of the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, several advisors to the President of the Republic, members of the government, and representatives from national official bodies and African constitutional judicial bodies.
The conference proceedings include a high-level dialogue session focusing on the theme of “The Functional Relationship Between Constitutional Institutions.” This session aims to foster discussion and collaboration among the various constitutional bodies represented at the event.
Participants will explore the intricacies of inter-institutional relations, seeking to identify best practices and strategies for effective cooperation. The discussions are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each institution within the constitutional framework.
