The General Manager of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rekkach, received on Wednesday the Resident Representative of the World Bank Group in Algeria, Kamila Hadjibay-Oglu Gerin.
According to the agency’s statement, the visit falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation and partnership to support the agency’s tasks in promoting investment and improving the business climate.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing cooperation prospects with the World Bank Group in the fields of technical support, capacity building, exchange of expertise, and the development of modern mechanisms to serve investors, in line with the state’s priorities in economic diversification and the promotion of sustainable investment.
On this occasion, Rekkach emphasized the importance of the partnership with the World Bank Group and the role it can play in supporting the agency, particularly regarding simplifying procedures, enhancing transparency, and improving investment attractiveness.
For her part, Kamila Hadjibay-Oglu Gerin expressed the World Bank Group’s readiness to continue supporting the agency and strengthening cooperation with it, contributing to improving the investment climate and supporting national efforts aimed at creating wealth and jobs.
