Oil prices rose in Friday’s trading as investors monitored the development of US-Iranian nuclear talks in Oman scheduled for later today.
By 09:35 Algiers time, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for March rose by 1.30% to $64.11 per barrel. Meanwhile, Brent global crude futures for April rose by 1.20% to $68.33 per barrel; despite this, prices are on track to record their first weekly loss since the beginning of the current year.
