The National Meteorological Office forecast on Friday thunderstorms and strong winds across several provinces of the country.
According to a special bulletin issued by the office, rainfall is expected to begin at 6:00 PM and continue until 6:00 AM on Saturday morning.
The bulletin concerns the provinces of Oran, Aïn Témouchent, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Mascara, Relizane, Tissemsilt, and Tiaret.
The National Meteorological Office also warned of strong winds starting from 3:00 AM on Saturday in the provinces of Algiers, Tipaza, Chlef, Mostaganem, Oran, Aïn Témouchent, El Oued, Djelfa, Laghouat, El Bayadh, Naâma, Béchar, El Menia, and Timimoun.
