Fateh Boutbig, President of El Moustakbal Front, stated on Friday that the 14th anniversary of the party’s founding represents a political and organizational milestone for evaluation and renewing the commitment to the nation and the people, rather than being merely a celebratory occasion.
Speaking at a public gathering in Batna, Boutbig explained that the party was founded in response to a real national need, based on responsible political practice, rational discourse, and a clear reformist vision. He stressed that El Moustakbal Front’s choice from the beginning was to work from within the state, with it, and for it, away from populism and chaos.
The speaker reviewed the 14-year journey of the political organization founded by Abdelaziz Belaid, highlighting the party’s resilience and continuity within elected institutions and political action spaces, relying on the struggle of ideas and proposals instead of noise and obstruction.
The party leader provided a frank assessment of the national situation, addressing political transformations as well as economic and social challenges. He emphasized that citizens today demand tangible results and effective reforms.
Regarding the future vision, Boutbig stressed the necessity of building a strong state with its institutions, a productive non-rentier economy, and achieving genuine social justice. He also called for consolidating conscious political participation that makes the citizen a partner in decision-making, confirming his party’s readiness to assume responsibility and participate effectively in various upcoming elections with realistic programs and solutions.
He concluded his speech by expressing appreciation for the party members, considering them the party’s capital and true spirit. He called for increased discipline, training, and proximity to citizens, renewing the pledge to defend the supreme interests of the country and preserve Algeria’s unity and stability.
