The Minister of Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues, Soraya Mouloudji, announced on Saturday the allocation of a financial budget estimated at 1.47 billion Algerian dinars as a contribution from the solidarity sector to the Ramadan grant, in coordination with local authorities.
During the launch of an awareness campaign to rationalize consumption during the holy month at the Central Post Office square, the minister confirmed the presence of more than 300 neighborhood cells in the field to contribute to the national awareness campaign on rationalizing consumption.
Mouloudji noted the participation of more than 900 productive families in Ramadan neighborhood markets and the issuance of approximately 2,200 licenses to open Iftar restaurants during the month of Ramadan.
The minister also revealed preparations for the fourth edition of the national competition for the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran for people with special needs and children in care, in coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments and public television.
