The eighth edition of the major cleaning campaign for the Algiers province was launched this Saturday across various municipalities, with the participation of citizens and civil society actors in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a statement from the Algiers province, delegated governors of administrative districts supervised the launch of this campaign in various municipalities. It saw wide participation from citizens and civil society actors, including neighborhood committees, the Algerian Red Crescent, and scout groups, alongside youth, sports, and cultural associations. Local authorities, security services, local elected officials, provincial public institutions, and executive directorates also participated.
This campaign, organized by the Algiers province under the patronage of the Minister and Governor of Algiers, Mohamed Abdennour Rabehi, comes ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. It aims to clean the environment to welcome the occasion in good conditions, involving all stakeholders to serve the public interest.
