The management of the Swiss club Young Boys has announced that Algerian international Jaouen Hadjam will be sidelined for approximately three months due to a left ankle injury.
In an official statement on its website, the club explained that thorough medical examinations revealed the injury to the ankle joint requires surgery as soon as possible, necessitating a lengthy period of rest and recovery.
Hadjam was previously forced to leave the national team’s training camp during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after sustaining a serious injury during the match against Burkina Faso in the second round of the group stage.
