Hanaa Tayeb, the media officer for the Algerian Red Crescent, revealed that the organization is supporting more than 200,000 families during the holy month of Ramadan across various parts of the country.
In a press statement on Sunday, the official confirmed the opening of more than 400 restaurants and 17 giant tents in different provinces of the country, in addition to a presence at international airports and passenger transport stations.
The media officer added that 20,000 circumcisions will be provided, as well as Eid clothing for more than 50,000 orphans.
During her remarks, the spokesperson noted that the distribution of all food parcels has been completed in 32 provinces so far.
