The National Meteorological Office reported significant thunderstorms today, Monday, across several provinces of the country. An alert from the same agency warned of significant rainfall exceeding 40 mm, expected to begin at 09:00 this morning and continue until 23:00 tonight.
The alert concerns the provinces of Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Mascara, Mostaganem, Chlef, Ain Defla, Relizane, Tissemsilt, and Tiaret.
Meteorological services also predicted locally significant thunderstorms starting from noon today until 21:00 tonight. This alert includes the provinces of Medea, Bouira, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, and Jijel.
