The National Union of Public Contractors announced on Sunday the election of Ahmed Belayat as the new president of the union.
Belayat, who also serves as the General Manager of the National Housing Bank, was elected on Saturday during the union’s elective general assembly.
On this occasion, Belayat expressed his gratitude to the union members for their trust, stating that his election to lead the union represents a significant responsibility. He emphasized the union’s commitment to contributing to national development programs and supporting economic and social growth by promoting the activities of public enterprises and strengthening their role in implementing strategic projects.
He also stressed the importance of continuity in work, noting that the union’s success is achieved through concerted efforts to ensure its contribution to national development, wealth creation, and job generation.
