The Minister of Vocational Education and Training, Nassima Arhab, announced the launch of new training specializations in the field of cybersecurity for the February 2026 training session.
During her speech at a national forum on enhancing cybersecurity capabilities held at the National Army Club, Arhab explained that these training programs are “aimed at qualifying executive technical competencies capable of direct integration into institutions, particularly in operational roles related to monitoring and protecting information systems.”
The Minister emphasized that her sector is working to enhance digital tools and pedagogical methods used in training by integrating digital laboratories, simulation platforms, and modern technical tools that mimic real work environments. This ensures high-quality practical training that meets labor market requirements and keeps pace with evolving cyber threats.
Arhab noted that “technology cannot be effective without a qualified human resource,” stressing that “the vocational education and training sector prioritizes the training of executive technical competencies capable of facing field challenges, responding to institutional requirements, and supporting the digital transformation of the national economy.”
The Minister also highlighted that investing in human capital is an investment in digital sovereignty and the sustainability of the national economy. She added that vocational training serves as a fundamental pillar for preparing executive technicians capable of protecting systems, securing data, and contributing effectively to building a secure digital ecosystem.
