Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, received on Wednesday at the ministry’s headquarters the “Serbia-Algeria” parliamentary friendship group delegation led by Goran Rakic. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the status of bilateral relations and discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on developing trade exchanges and the possibility of organizing an exhibition of Algerian products in Serbia and another for Serbian products in Algeria.
On the other hand, Minister of Culture and Arts Malika Bendouda received the Serbian parliamentary delegation, where prospects for cultural cooperation between the two countries were discussed. The Serbian side expressed its desire to intensify the exchange of expertise in various fields of arts, while the Minister confirmed the existence of a cultural cooperation agreement for the period 2026-2029 to be signed soon, which will enhance the cultural partnership and revive the bonds of Algerian-Serbian friendship.
