Ooredoo Group announced on February 9, 2026, its financial results for the year 2025, which represented a pivotal stage in the Algerian telecommunications sector marked by the launch of 5G technology. The results confirm the strong performance achieved by Ooredoo Algeria and the effectiveness of its long-term investment strategy.
In a statement, Ooredoo Algeria explained that during the 2025 fiscal year, it achieved revenues estimated at 119.1 billion Algerian dinars, compared to 104.6 billion Algerian dinars in 2024, representing a growth rate of 13.9%. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 53.4 billion Algerian dinars in 2025, compared to 44.2 billion Algerian dinars in 2024, recording a 21% increase, which reflects the efficiency of the company’s operational performance.
As part of its long-term investment policy, Ooredoo Algeria allocated 35.3 billion Algerian dinars in investments during 2025, compared to 16.7 billion Algerian dinars in 2024, an increase of 111.3%. These investments were directed toward strengthening its network, modernizing its infrastructure, and expanding its coverage across the entire national territory. These investments, particularly those carried out within the framework of universal electronic communications service, contributed to supporting the launch of 5G services in Algeria while sustainably improving service quality for all customers.
By the end of December 2025, the number of Ooredoo Algeria subscribers reached 15.32 million, compared to 14.73 million for the same period in 2024, representing a 4% increase. This growth reinforces the renewed trust of its customers and confirms its position as a key player in enabling 5G usage and promoting digital adoption in Algeria.
Commenting on these results, Roni Tohme, General Manager of Ooredoo Algeria, stated: “The year 2025 marked a major turning point for the telecommunications sector in Algeria with the launch of 5G technology. In this context, Ooredoo Algeria allocated significant investments to strengthen our network and keep pace with this new generation of technology. Our ambitions are to provide more innovative and efficient services to our customers while actively contributing to the digital transformation and economic development of the country.”
The results recorded during 2025 reflect the effectiveness of the strategy pursued by the institution, based on accelerating the pace of digital transformation and continuously strengthening and modernizing its network infrastructure, alongside a permanent commitment to excellence in customer experience during the transition toward new-generation mobile technologies.
For 2026, Ooredoo Algeria intends to build on the achievements of 2025 and plans to maintain a high level of investment to enhance the coverage, capacity, and quality of its network, as well as develop new services, applications, and high-value-added solutions for individuals, businesses, and the national digital ecosystem.
