The National Meteorological Office has warned of strong winds exceeding 90 km/h across several provinces of the country.
The agency expects strong winds starting from 6:00 AM this Thursday until 9:00 PM in the provinces of Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Tiaret, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’Sila, Ouled Djellal, and Biskra.
Wind speeds are also expected to exceed 80 km/h starting from 9:00 AM today until 6:00 PM in the provinces of Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Blida, Bouira, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma, Souk Ahras, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Khenchela, Tebessa, El M’Ghair, Touggourt, El Oued, Ghardaia, and Ouargla.
