The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, accompanied by the Wali of Oran, Ibrahim Ouchane, oversaw the opening of the first edition of the Algerian Exported Products Exhibition, hosted in the province of Oran. According to a ministry statement, this edition features the participation of more than 200 exporting exhibitors representing various sectors and production branches.
The organization of this significant economic event comes within the context of implementing the state’s strategy aimed at promoting national exports and enhancing the presence of Algerian products in regional and international markets.
On this occasion, the Minister and his accompanying delegation visited various pavilions of the participating Algerian exporting companies, where he reviewed their production capacities and the level of compliance of their products with international standards. He also engaged in dialogue with company officials regarding export development prospects and ways to support operators in entering new markets.
The Minister also listened to detailed technical reports concerning the countries to which the displayed Algerian products are exported, the volume of trade, and the potential for expanding the network of commercial partners.
The Minister emphasized the necessity of diversifying export destinations and strengthening positioning in African, Arab, and European markets, in line with the state’s strategic directions in the field of foreign trade and export promotion.
