The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, oversaw the opening of the second edition of the children’s clothing exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion in Ghardaia province.
According to the ministry, the exhibition features the participation of 53 institutions, including three single-brand companies that have launched local production.
On this occasion, the minister visited various pavilions of the exhibition, where he spoke with exhibitors and economic operators and listened to their aspirations. He emphasized the sector’s support for initiatives to promote national products and encourage local institutions to increase the competitiveness of their products, especially in the textile and children’s clothing sector.
The minister also confirmed that the exhibition aligns with the government policy aimed at encouraging national investment.
During his meeting with the textile industrial cluster of Ghardaia province, the minister praised the efforts made by operators in this sector and their role in strengthening national production and meeting market needs.
He also praised the initiative to open sales points for children’s clothing products in Mauritania, considering it an important step within the framework of moving towards entering African markets and strengthening the presence of Algerian products abroad.
