The National Meteorological Office announced on Friday heavy thundery rain across several provinces of the country.
According to a level one alert on the vigilance map, the rainfall is expected to occur from 09:00 until 15:00.
The alert concerns the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Annaba, Skikda, El Tarf, Guelma, and Souk Ahras, as well as M’Sila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Oran, Ain Temouchent, Tlemcen, Mascara, Sidi Bel Abbes, and Naama.
