The Directorate of Military Industries at the Ministry of National Defense received, on Tuesday at the Port of Mostaganem, the sixth shipment of new imported buses, consisting of 384 vehicles from the German brand Mercedes.
With this shipment, the total number of buses received has risen to more than 2,200, aimed at strengthening the transport fleet. This operation is part of the implementation of the President of the Republic’s instructions to import 10,000 new buses to renew the national passenger transport fleet.
The process is being carried out under the personal supervision of the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army.
