General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, received General Carmine Masiello, Chief of Staff of the Italian Army, who is currently on a working visit to Algeria leading a military delegation.
During the meeting, which was attended by generals and senior officers from the Ministry of National Defense and the People’s National Army Staff, as well as members of the Italian delegation, both sides reviewed bilateral military cooperation opportunities. They also discussed ways to develop and strengthen coordination on issues of common interest and exchanged views on various current issues.
General Carmine Masiello praised the warm reception given to him and his accompanying delegation, highlighting the strong will he observed from the Algerian side to strengthen cooperation and consultation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
