Prime Minister Saifi Gharib oversaw on Tuesday the official installation ceremony of the working group tasked with establishing the national network for accreditation, conformity, and certification.
The installation of this team, which includes highly qualified national experts in the field, comes within the framework of implementing the President of the Republic’s strategic vision. This vision aims to modernize the system for monitoring the conformity of goods and services and to enhance national capabilities in analysis and quality control, ensuring the protection of the national economy, supporting subcontracting and local production, as well as consumer safety and health.
This installation followed the completion of an initial inventory of available national capabilities in analysis and conformity monitoring, covering various economic and service sectors in addition to scientific research centers.
This process resulted in identifying and documenting available technical and human capacities, highlighting a wide network of national laboratories to be utilized in the future to enhance technical sovereignty and support the competitiveness of the national economy.
