Minister of Environment and Quality of Life, Kaouthar Krikou, received on Tuesday the Qatari Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, accompanied by a high-level delegation at the ministry’s headquarters to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on prospects for consolidating bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of environmental protection, addressing climate change challenges, and exchanging expertise and experiences in promoting sustainable development paths.
Videos were also presented on climate change and the livestock resources in Algeria, in addition to a presentation on the Green Dam project.
For his part, the Qatari minister expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality he received from the Algerian Republic, expressing his admiration for the attention the Algerian authorities pay to the environmental sector.
