Naftal Explains LPG Supply Disruptions

Naftal announced that the supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has experienced some disruptions in recent days, affecting the distribution pace at several points across the country.

The company apologized to its customers for the inconvenience caused during this period, confirming that LPG is available in the necessary quantities.

Naftal attributed these disruptions primarily to bad weather conditions since January 20, 2026, which prevented the docking of supply ships coming from the Arzew production complex intended for the central and eastern provinces on schedule, causing delays in loading and unloading operations.

The company also reassured that all other petroleum products are available in the required quantities and has mobilized all logistical and human resources in coordination with Sonatrach to address this delay, with supply operations expected to return to their normal pace in the coming hours.

Naftal reiterated its apologies and its commitment to ensuring the continuity of public service and regularly supplying the market, while continuing to monitor the situation until supply and distribution operations return to full normalcy.
