Heavy Rain and Snow in These Provinces

The National Meteorological Office reported in an alert that heavy snowfall will continue on heights exceeding 1,000 meters, with a thickness of more than 20 cm, until noon this Wednesday.

According to the same source, the alert concerns the provinces of Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Naâma, El Bayadh, Laghouat, and Djelfa.

Heavy snowfall is also expected on heights exceeding 1,200 meters, with a thickness of up to 10 cm, continuing until noon this Wednesday in the provinces of Batna, Khenchela, and Tébessa.

In another alert, the same services warned of continued heavy thunderstorms with rainfall amounts exceeding 120 mm until noon this Wednesday.

The alert includes the provinces of Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Relizane, Tiaret, Aïn Defla, Tissemsilt, Médéa, and Blida.

Heavy thunderstorms exceeding 60 mm will also continue until 3:00 PM this Wednesday in the provinces of Algiers, Boumerdès, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, M’Sila, Djelfa, Laghouat, Saïda, and Mascara.

The Meteorological Office predicted heavy thunderstorms with rainfall amounts exceeding 60 mm, continuing until 6:00 PM this Wednesday.

The rain will fall in the provinces of Béjaïa, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Sétif, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Mila, Constantine, Guelma, Souk Ahras, Khenchela, Oum El Bouaghi, Tébessa, and Batna.
