The National Agency for Dams and Transfers announced that the Oued Taht Dam in Mascara province has reached 100% capacity, as the overflow process continues.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the agency clarified that the volume of water flowing through the spillway (EVC) is estimated at more than 11 million cubic meters.
The agency also noted that this water flows directly into Oued Mina, which supplies the Sidi M’hamed Ben Aouda Dam in Relizane province.
This opportunity was utilized to open the bottom valves to clear out accumulated sediment and silt.
