Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a government meeting on Wednesday dedicated to studying several files. At the beginning of the session, the government continued its study of the draft executive decree outlining the conditions and methods for practicing audiovisual production and filming audiovisual works, which falls within the framework of completing the issuance of implementing texts for the provisions of the law related to audiovisual activity.
This text aims to establish an integrated regulatory framework for audiovisual production and filming, while allowing for the integration of digital solutions and tools within the process of submitting and processing related applications.
Furthermore, the government heard a presentation regarding the proposed mechanisms and programs for the responsible and sustainable care of foster children over the age of 18. This concerns a category of individuals for whom public authorities are working to establish a special framework for care and support, ensuring the achievement of independence and sustainable professional and social integration without obstacles.
Finally, the government heard a presentation on the National Climate Adaptation Plan, which serves as a strategic tool aimed at strengthening Algeria’s capacity to face the effects of climate change and environmental challenges. To this end, the plan identifies the implications for water resources, agriculture, health, and ecosystems, and provides practical tools such as risk mapping and local adaptation plans.
