The National Meteorological Office has warned of continued thunderstorms in several provinces across the country today, Thursday. According to a special bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by winds are expected in various regions.
The bulletin, classified at an “orange” alert level, includes the provinces of Tlemcen, Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Medea, Blida, Ain Defla, Tissemsilt, Mascara, Relizane, northern Tiaret, and Saida.
Rainfall amounts are expected to range between 20 and 40 mm locally, during the period from 1:00 AM on Thursday until 3:00 PM.
