On Saturday, the Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, along with the Secretary-General of the High Commissariat for Amazighity, Si El Hachemi Assad, presided over the opening ceremony of a study day titled “The Tamazight Language in the National Justice System: Towards the Institutionalization of Tamazight in Judicial and Professional Practice.” The event was held at the Higher School of Magistracy in Koléa, Tipaza province.
The organization of this study day, in partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the High Commissariat for Amazighity, comes as part of the celebration of International Mother Language Day. It embodies the state’s commitment to promoting the Tamazight language and strengthening its status across various institutions of the Republic.
A group of academics and specialized professors participated in the proceedings, alongside judges, experts, translators, and officials from both sectors, ensuring an enriched discussion and the exchange of expertise.
