Smart Device Helps You Find Lost Items

Recent reports revealed that OpenAI is working on developing its first home device in collaboration with designer Jony Ive, aiming to provide smart speakers that redefine the concept of a home assistant, surpassing the current limitations of Alexa and Google devices.

According to these reports, the most prominent feature of the speakers is the integration of an advanced camera powered by visual artificial intelligence. Thanks to this camera, the speaker can recognize objects in its surroundings; if you ask it “Where are my keys?”, it may answer you because it saw where you placed them on the table.

Additionally, the speaker analyzes user behavior. For example, if it notices you are staying up late before a busy workday, it might suggest you go to sleep or remind you of your morning schedule. The speakers also feature Face ID technology for shopping, where the device will support facial recognition to complete purchases securely, allowing users to order products online simply by looking at the device and confirming the order vocally.

The expected price will range between $200 and $300. Leaks indicate that the official announcement of the smart speakers may take place in late 2026, with shipping expected to begin in February 2027.
