Arrival of a new shipment of imported buses

A new shipment of imported buses, totaling 338 vehicles of various types, arrived at the Port of Algiers on Sunday.

The process of receiving the shipment of 338 buses of various types began today at the Port of Algiers. This is part of a total of 6,800 buses to be imported from the People’s Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Operations to receive the remaining quantities of buses will continue over the next few days.

This operation is part of the implementation of the President of the Republic’s program, which mandates the import of 10,000 new buses intended to renew the national passenger transport fleet.

The process is being personally monitored by the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, and the Directorate of Military Industries of the Ministry of National Defense.
