The National Meteorological Office issued a special weather alert on Saturday, warning of strong winds exceeding 90 km/h.
The alert indicated that these strong winds will persist until 3:00 PM across the provinces of Tlemcen, Aïn Témouchent, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbès, and Mostaganem.
