Boualem Boualem, Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the previous postponement of the consideration of the draft technical amendment to the Constitution and the organic law on elections has nothing to do with the absence of General Saïd Chengriha from the Council of Ministers meeting.
The Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency explained, in a statement on the sidelines of the meeting held today at the Palace of Nations with the heads of political parties, that the postponement was intended to enrich the two texts by representatives of the political parties.
Boualem Boualem confirmed that the reason for the absence of the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army was due to his leave coinciding with the holding of the Council of Ministers.
