Minister of State, Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab, is conducting a working visit to the Republic of Niger this Monday, according to a ministry statement.
The visit is part of reviewing the latest developments in Sonatrach Group’s activities in Niger, particularly regarding the follow-up on the exploration and search project at the Kafra oil field in northern Niger.
The Minister of State and his accompanying delegation are expected to hold meetings with the Nigerien side to discuss the progress of the strategic Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline project and to strengthen coordination and consultation mechanisms between the concerned parties.
During this visit, the Minister of State is accompanied by the CEO of Sonatrach Group, Noureddine Daoudi, and the General Manager of Sonatrach International Holding, Bouarara Cherif, along with officials from the ministry.
