The National Meteorological Office reported significant local rainfall and strong winds across several provinces of the country. An alert issued by the same services on Tuesday warned of significant local thunderstorms in the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Blida, Tipaza, Aïn Defla, Tissemsilt, Chlef, Mostaganem, Relizane, Mascara, and Tiaret.
In another alert, the office predicted strong winds in the provinces of Boumerdes, Algiers, Chlef, Mostaganem, Oran, Aïn Témouchent, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbès, and Naâma.
