Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Friday that Tehran will fully open the Strait of Hormuz to all commercial vessels during the remaining period of the ceasefire.
Araghchi told dzwatch that the passage of ships through the strait “will follow the coordinated and pre-announced route by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization.”
He emphasized that this step comes in alignment with the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, marking a significant development in regional maritime security and international trade routes.
