Foreign Minister Attaf Represents President Tebboune at the AU Executive Council Session in Addis Ababa

Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Minister, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, this evening. He is attending on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to participate in the 44th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, scheduled for February 14th and 15th.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this session is part of the preparations for the 37th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, planned for February 17th and 18th. The session’s agenda includes discussions on various topics related to international and regional developments, as well as joint African efforts in security, politics, economics, and social affairs.

Minister Ahmed Attaf is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts from other African countries on the sidelines of the Executive Council’s activities.
