Algerian international goalkeeper, Luca Zidane, has expressed profound emotions regarding his representation of the national team, stating that wearing the Algerian jersey evokes unique feelings unmatched elsewhere.

In an extensive interview with the French magazine 'Onze Mondial', Zidane was queried about the significance of donning the national team's colours, acknowledging the responsibilities and expectations that come with it.
"When I wear the Algerian jersey, I feel emotions that I don't find anywhere else, neither with my club nor anywhere else," Zidane responded. He further elaborated on the palpable support from the Algerian fanbase, noting that "having this crowd behind us gives us positive pressure. These are feelings you wish you could experience every day, but they don't happen daily."
Reflecting on the national anthem, the Granada goalkeeper shared that during its playing, his thoughts are primarily with his family, especially his grandfather, who instilled in him a deep appreciation for Algerian culture from a young age. "My grandfather tells me every day how very happy he is that I represent the Algerian national team," Zidane concluded. "So, if I can make him proud, I consider myself a winner."
